Does the integration require Mailchimp paid plans?

The basic integration works with Mailchimp's free plan for adding subscribers and applying tags. Automated email sequences triggered by tags require Mailchimp's Standard or Premium plan. QR-Hero requires a Business or Enterprise plan for Mailchimp integration.

Can I segment my audience by QR code source?

Yes. Every subscriber added through a QR code scan is tagged with the code name, campaign, and optionally the scan location. You can create Mailchimp segments based on these tags to send targeted campaigns to specific QR code audiences.

Will duplicate contacts be created?

No. The integration checks for existing contacts by email address before adding new ones. If a contact already exists in your Mailchimp audience, their tags are updated with the new QR code source information without creating a duplicate.
